MXL990 condenser mic and feadback....

So I have a mxl99 condenser mic that I run into a mp studio tube pre amp, then out from the pre amp to the effects pedal, and finally from the effects pedal to my pa system. Is this mic not meant to be in the same room as the drums and guitar? My question is can I use this mic live with the drums and guitar and bass around it and still use it for vocals without gettin feedback?

Re: MXL990 condenser mic and feadback....

Doubtful, even if you were doing a solo act.  Like many of the condenser mics that are made specifically for live vocals, it likely picks up way too much unwanted sound.
