T C Double Pedal

If anyone has any favorite settings for the T C double pedal, I would certainly appreciate the input.
My Create and Correct was a "breeze" to set up, but the Double has me half insane  HA HA

Strange, but no help from the "manufacturer" these days.... I was directed to "customer support". I'm wondering what's up with that ??? I'll leave it at that....

I'm positive I can get some assistance at TMV...

Thank you in advance !!!

Adolph

Re: T C Double Pedal

Honestly, I thought out of the box was more or less fine when I used it...  use your ears... turn knobs, if you likey, go with it, if you donty, turn knobs again... I know thats not very sophisticated, but it does work. I think they have a manual for it?  Im surprised you cant get any product specialist support on their site anymore...hum?  Wasn't Tom Lang or Stewart providing that?  Maybe their new guy from Whales, Greg is an expert in pro audio gear and singing technique and can provide expertise on both?

Re: T C Double Pedal

Thank you Robert... That was a quick response !

I set everything back to default, and everything's working fine. I've been adjusting the Overdub ,Timing , and other knobs, and I'm finally getting what I need. Certain songs just don't seem to fit my voice though, so I just turn it off and use the Create. Just for fun,  set it at Bank 6 and Patch 2, and you'll suddenly become "effeminate"...  :o
There's a couple other settings that will do the same...

As for the "other site", you can't address these minor issues on the forum anymore....you have to address customer service which I believed was for defective products not a mere question...????

Re: T C Double Pedal

Why...?  My understanding was that they liked getting feedback from customers on their forum... and Im sure will provide support here at TMV.

Re: T C Double Pedal

My Question: (In Part) "Any help out there with some suggested settings for the Doubler ? I'm getting very frustrated with it....Still awaiting my Create (my favorite) from the repair shop which is FINISHED, due to repairs"

The Response: (In Part)  "Just have to mention that this forum isn't really supposed to be for direct online support. I read it and chime in now and then when time permits."

???  New way of conducting business ???

Re: T C Double Pedal

Yes, it is sad... As I noted, that was a PARTIAL response. It was suggested to me to contact customer support. But there are two problems with that:
1) The lag time to receive a response is four days.
2) Customer support is not going to take the time to provide specific settings.

It was also suggested to me to send it back, as it was "defective"  ???  Well, it wasn't, and thanks to Robert's, suggestions, all is fine with the pedal. It would have not only been a delay waiting for my pedal to be returned, but had I done so, someone there would have thought I was crazy since there was nothing defective. It would have been a total waste of time for all involved.

Personally, I'd like to see "someone" from TC join TMV to deal with these easy questions. It isn't my intent to "slam" anyone "there", however, I've noticed a lot of members "there" who are becoming very discouraged that they are not receiving responses with respects to their "issues" with the products.

Again, a new way to conduct business ???  Had I have treated my customers that way when I had MY own business after my retirement, I wouldn't have been in business very long !!!  While I like my T C products, I'm seriously considering some other companies' products as well - Digitech, and I like what I'm reading about the Antares Vocal Producer. And the latter is priced reasonably as well, for all of the features it has to offer. I'll definitely be checking it out at my local Guitar Center when finances permit.
