Zoom H1

Based on Owen's recommendation and a really nifty promo video, I went ahead and got this handy little thing.

It's a portable digital recorder and it really is good quality. It will export to wav and mp3.

I did this just this evening, as a test. Took out the micro sd stuck in the reader, imported it. No mixing or post recording editing. Straight into box.

This song is for our kinda new member, Phil.

Re: Zoom H1

Cool. Glad my suggestion helped you.

BTW you don't have to take out the micro sd card, you can also turn it off and use a mini USB cable, that's what I do. I don't know which is more convenient, I've just always done the USB way.

Re: Zoom H1

When I bought it at Best Buy, they did not have the accessory kit that you can buy with it. No biggie, I'll just get the usb cable. I would like to try this as a usb mic, as well.

I don't think it's able to work that way, from what I've tried. You have to turn it off to get your computer to read it on the usb. The usb's just for file transfer.
