Skytec Wireless?

I'm toying with the idea of wireless mic's - I know I'll want one eventually, but am wary of the pricetag. It happens to be that a fellow singer of mine has one he's willing to sell. An asian ripoff of a synthair by the looks of it, but, I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with Skytec mics in general, and especially their wireless systems!

Cheers!

Dave

Re: Skytec Wireless?

Even name brand wireless don't sound as good as the wired version with the same capsule.  With an unknown, this will I expect be worse - and that's if there are no RF problems.  The cheapest I'd go with would be a Line 6.  They are actually quite decent.
